UH AT&T LAB Network Connections
The AT&T Lab is expected to be connected to four wide area networks: 1) the Internet through the University of Houston fiber optic network, 2) Internet2 IP network through the Texas Learning and Computational Center (TLC2) and the Lonestar Educational and Research Network (LEARN), 3) Internet2 Dynamic Circuits Network (DCN) with dark fiber from the lab through SETG to LEARN, 4) AT&T Network through U-Verse wired and wireless.
In addition, the ISGRIN research lab local area network, the computer networks lab lab local area network, each with 100Mbps trunks, and the Wireless and Optical research lab (WON) lab local area network with 1gigE trunk over multimode can take advantage of the connections to the wide area networks for a variety of projects for faculty, staff and students and for training purposes.
